A visit to Florida shelter brought this cutey to my house. She was running out of time and no one wanted her. Maybe it was because she appeared too old, or her teeth stuck out too far, or she acted too scared because she missed her former owner so much and did not understand how or why she ended up in such a scary place. She barked and barked but I entered her pen and she jumped up on me for kisses. This was not a dog with a bad attitude but one who needed a second chance. I took her home where she became instantly more relaxed and within 2 days…a completely different dog with tricks and dances she performed when excited.
A nice lady contacted me on behalf of her mother who had recently lost her 4 legged companion and was ready for a new one. The overbite was a familiar sight to the family since their last pet had the same issue. They feel in love on sight. After a meet and greet the Mom decided to adopt the little 7lb bundle of joy. Since then she has been spotted all over town like the Princess we all new she was - having breakfast and shopping at dog boutiques like Wag! THANKS FOR GIVING KERRI A SECOND CHANCE ON A GREAT LIFE AND ADOPTING AN OLDER PET!
