Kathy Walvoord

Cat Care Coordinator, Board Member

Kathy Walvoord is the Cat Care Coordinator for St Francis Society, Inc. She is also a disaster volunteer for Emergency Animal Rescue Service. (EARS) She is on the Board of Directors of No More Homeless Pets in Hillsborough County, a coalition of animal welfare groups and individuals working together to end pet overpopulation in our community. She volunteers for Animal Coalition of Tampa, whose primary focus is high volume spay and neutering to reduce the euthanasia numbers of homeless animals. She works full-time as a sales manager for Printshack, a full service printing and graphic design company. She moved to Tampa from Omaha, NE in 1988 with her daughter, Michelle, and the family dog, Sheba. She is now the proud mom of five cats, all but one are St Francis rescues, and 1 dog, BJ, a former Humane Society resident.
