Jim Olivier

Jim Olivier has been an attorney for the past 20 years as a member of The Florida Bar. He received his law degree from the University of Florida. For the past six years he has been the Director of Claims for the Lawyer's Protector Plan(R), a division of Brown & Brown, Inc. In this capacity, he has overseen and handled hundreds of lawyers professional liability claims for three carriers.

Mr. Olivier's career at Brown & Brown began in 1996, when he served as Vice President and Assistant General Counsel for the Company. Before joining Brown & Brown, he was a partner in the corporate/securities department of Holland & Knight, one of the world's largest law firms.

He has been volunteering for St. Francis for the past five years.
